Trolley Manufacturing
Trolley manufacturing has been a speciality of blue trolley for over 25 years. We have manufactured many types of trolley during this time and that has enabled us to be expert in the interpretation of our customers needs. In addition we also import trucks and trolleys. We believe that our expertise in trolley manufacture ensures that we are able to source and obtain only the highest standard of trucks and trolleys. It is important to us not only that every trolley is constructed of the best available materials but also that the trolleys are constructed soundly and utilising the most up to date manufacturing techniques. Finishing is also important as often trolleys are used by our customers in the public environment, for example as a delivery trolley and we know how important it is that any trolley used reflects the high quality that our customers want to provide to their customers.
The choice of trolley wheels is also of paramount importance. The trolley wheels need to be suitable for the environment in which they are being used and also hard wearing enough to endure the use to which they are being put.
Pneumatic wheels are best suited for use on rough terrain and also, for example, where the trolley is required to be wheeled up and down kerbs. We also offer puncture proof wheels which have a similar ride to that of a pneumatic tyre but they have the added advantage that they do not puncture.
These tyre are ideal for use where sharps may be present for example in a workshop or in the brewery industry. Hire companies also often prefer puncture proof tyres as they trolleys that they hire out need to be suitable for the wide and varying use requirements of their customers. Parcel delivery companies also favour this type of wheel for moving parcels for example on a box trolley. Solid rubber tyres are also used on our trucks and trolleys. Solid rubber is hardwearing and long lasting and is ideally suited, for example, in an environment where glass is involved as part of the process or service. We source our castors and wheels both nationally and internationally for example Italy, the Far east and within the United Kingdom. We strive to locate the best quality castors and wheels and also the most competitively priced.
