Client: Supplier and manufacturer of multi-fuel stoves and accessories
Project: To design a log trolley to collect and store logs that would be stylish and practical and also compliment their existing product range.

Details: The client wanted to design a log trolley to add to the current range of products that they offered to their customers.
The purpose of the trolley was to store logs and enable them to be moved easily from one place to another. The trolley design needed to fit well with their current products.
The client wanted the trolley to be simple both visually and in design.
We visited our client and they explained how they wanted the trolley to be used and showed us the product range with which they needed the trolley to fit. We also discussed the varying types of logs that customers used from large, irregular segmented trunks to small and regular sized formed logs.
Our Designer carefully considered the design brief and came up with a concept design that proposed a solution. We presented this design in the form a concept sketch in order to visually represent our idea to them. We then worked with the client making the slight amendments that they required.
We then went ahead and generated a digital model of the trolley and associated drawings. Once this had been discussed agreed with the client, our development team then created a prototype of the design for the customer to trial.
By actually using the prototype, the client was then able to make any further amendments that were needed.

The development of the trolley prototype allowed a final design to be approved by the Client. From here we were then at a stage where both client ourselves were ready for mass production of a new trolley product line unique to our client.
